Nepal is a landlocked country with China to the North and India to the South, East and West. The country uses India’s eastern port of Kolkata as its main gateway to the sea. The presence of railways is negligible, a 1,100 Km long east to west railway project through the southern plains is under discussion. This opportunity may be tapped by interested investors.
