Nepal Hospital Seismic Retrofit Programme – Intrusive Surveys – Group D (Ongoing)

We have been assigned by Ramboll UK Limited, to carry out a seismic assessment of four hospitals in the eastern development region of Nepal: Panchthar Hospital, Koshi Zonal Hospital, Lahan Hospital, Janakpur Zonal Hospital. For this assignment, our team of highly skilled civil engineers, have visited each of these facilities, and conducted various engineering tests (ferroscan testing, Schmidt hammer testing, masonry testing and identification, measured survey), on the infrastructures present. Each building of the facilities have been thoroughly analyzed to come up with a seismic model, which will later be used to create retrofit plans for earthquake preparedness.
